Seed Sheets
Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.
The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:
While I love eating and talking about food, my daughters and I have also begun to looking into creating our own farm-to-table thing at home. And while there are many great guides to gardening, it has been helpful to get a head start with Seed Sheets.
As they have been seen on Shark Tank and probably in many of your favorite restaurant kitchens, many people may be familiar with the VT-based company’s pre-seeded pads that you simply place on topsoil and water and that then release salad-ready vegetables and herbs. I must admit, however, that until I tried it, I did not think it could be that easy. But it is!
After just a few weeks, I have delicious herbs and even a few small beets and radishes, all in a 12” pot that I keep on my front porch.
Seed Sheets come in various sizes (including what amounts to a cheat sheet for an entire garden) and each one comes with instructions, a guide to temperature zones, and even recipes. It is truly a foolproof way to start or enhance a garden and it is a lot of fun to do!
